Did I miss where V7 won't import .wmv?

Tried importing a basic wmv file and V7 locks up.
VMS platinum takes the same file and rendered to dvd fine.
Tried importing from cd and also from hard drive.
wmv specs are
640x480
audio
875kbps
44 kHz
video
768kbps
sample 24
(not sure if any of this helps)

its 8 minuted long and 40mb

Jimmyz, I had problems with WMVs also, as did several other forum members. You should be able to find that thread if you search my user name, there were 8 or 9 responses. Hopefully Sony will correct the WMV problems soon.
