Did this get fixed in V7?

The need to set a De-Interlace method when downconverting or for that matter doing anything that changes frame size.
I know this sounds like the most trivial gripe but the Out Of Box experience counts for a lot and it'd only take a very minor coding effort to change the default value.

Bob.

PS: Which did we decide was the best again, Blend or Interpolate?

Yes I know, go do a search.
But see there's the thing isn't it.
Advice to new user.
Got to this forum, register and read every post before attempting to use Vegas. By the time they've done that they'll have learnt a lot about theology, political science, morality, copyright, lighting and 101 uses for a cheap 3D program. They'll probably have forgotten why they bought Vegas, found Nirvana and spent the rest of their days in a monastry. Guess that counts as another satisfied user.

From what I've gathered, Blend works best for stable, slightly moving scenes, while Interpolate works best for fast moving scenes.

i set interpolate as a default for everything when it comes to slowmo and scaling..

never had an issue...

Neither is great. Motion adaptive is best - one of the features I requested many moons ago.

For scaling I think it doesn't matter whether Interpolate or Blend is selected but one of them MUST be selected.
