You're kidding that you didn't know this, right?

I didn't have a clue, but it's nice to know. I haven't done much customization except for a few scripts.

Nope! I sh££t you not! Made your day, huh? I know Douglas, simply stuff. But a GIANT leap for this Mankind! I do 'umble.

Grazie, I didn't mean it as a slight, apologies if it came across that way. I know you use Excalibur, and I believe it's in that manual, as well as being mentioned here on the fora a few times, plus it's in all the training I've seen, and in Magnus' pdf for Vegas, among a bunch of other places.
Add to that tip:
Double clicking window headers to resize them
Holding CTRL while moving sliders for fine tuning
Using "Q" to set up a loop region
Using the Clean Up PreRendered files option to clean crap out of the system.
There is a fairly long list found here going back to 2003.

Thanks Douglas. Nope, just 'umbled! Very 'umble . . .

Tell you what though - I got such a shock today when I doubled on the Toolbar and this thing sprung up at me! Kewl!! Hey, I bet ALL this stuff is somewhere. But both JM and Edward didn't know about the SCRIPT Edit menu? Guess who "found" that one?

A cool shortcut maybe everyone already knows is this:

double-click on the timeline track horizontal scroll bar and it makes your video fit in the current window.

I don't know if that's what you call that scroll bar, but it's the one right below all your tracks.

OK...I'll ask. :) What is it? What? Where? How?

I take it this differs from the regular run script menu.

Thanks.

Kentwolf, it is correct that I did not know about that one. It is totally undocumented but does appear to be present. Press CTRL-ALT-0 to see it.
