I noticed that the program, "SONY Movie Studio+DVD," comes with another program, "DVD Architect Studio."
1) What does, "DVD Architect Studio," do?
2) How is it different from, "SONY Movie Studio+DVD?"
Thanks.
Richard
1) DVD Architect Studio is the program you use to create DVDs. You use it to lay out the menu structures and content that will be burned onto a DVD. It also has facilities to create the files needed to go onto a DVD, and it will also burn the DVD, assuming you have a compatible DVD burner.
The typical scenario is to edit a movie (or movies) using Movie Studio, then use DVD Architect Studio to turn it into a DVD.
2) Sony Movie Studio + DVD contains DVD Architect Studio as part of the bundle. As far as I know there is no way to buy one without the other. You can buy DVD Architect separately, but that is much more expensive. (It's the big brother of DVD Architect Studio.)
"You can buy DVD Architect separately, but that is much more expensive."
It's been my understanding that this is not the case. Perhaps there's been a change that I'm not aware of. On the Sony product page, there's no evicence of it being sold separately.
