different output res required

Hello,

I'm relatively new to video editing so sorry for my stupid questions.

I wish to export video to two 1920 x 1080 screens mounted side by side.

I've downloaded Movie studio platinum 14. (I thought I'd downloaded the suite version but this one seems to do pretty much what I want.... I think)

Anyway, I've successfully setup a project & made a test video so I can see the desired end product, but I can't seem to be able to export anything that is 3840 wide by 1080 high.

Is this possible in the Movie studio series or do I have to go to Vegas Pro to do this please ?

thanks in advance.

cheers

jim

Some templates will let you customise to 3840x1080. It failed for me with Sony AVC mp4 but Main Concept AVC worked. But what is your source material aspect ratio? HD Widescreen will have large black sidebars unless you crop and set your project to 3840x1080.

Or do you perhaps intend having different images on the screens?

G'day Eric, thank you for trying to help me.

I already have the project set to 3840x1080 & I tried (I thought) all the different templates to export the same size... But with no success. I'm wondering if it's a limitation of movie studio Platinum. And no I don't intend to have different images on both screens. It's essentially a wide panorama I'm trying to show.

You've inspired me to go & have another look though. Thanks.
