Different setup

I am building a totally new computer and will install 511 as the first and only version of Vegas. I guess I will find out if a clean install on a brand new computer computer makes a difference.

By the way, I am really treating myself with the new machine: i7-3930K, 16 gig ddr3-1866 ram, 120 gig ssd to hold Windows 7 64bit and my programs, 1 1/2 terabyte HHD to hold my data, GTX 570 with 2.5 gig of RAM, etc.

We'll see if that makes a difference.

I'm jealous.
I tried using an internal SSD for Vegas and another for scratch data, and it made very little difference in preview and encoding times.

After you build it, let us know your rendertest results.
