Different Versions of Vegas. . .

Just wondering if the DVD Architect was different in Vegas 6 than in Movie Studio 6? I've only seen pictures here & there and they sort of look the same. Someday I want to get Vegas 6 and was wondering if I should get the ' + DVD ' version.

And what is this Academic Version I see on Ebay? Is this a stripped down version? Or just a price break for students?

By far the biggest difference is ac3 sound

The academic versions of Vegas are fully functional, not stripped down. To my knowledge, the only versions are Vegas and Vegas Movie Studio.

With Vegas Movie Studio we actually have DVD Architect Studio.

I think, but I'm not totally sure, that the full DVD Architect lets you do more "pro" things, like muliple language audio tracks, multiple camera angles, AC3 encoding (as mentioned above), closed-captioning, etc. The kind of stuff you see on real, Hollywood DVD's. Also, surround sound audio, etc.
