anyone using a digi 002 with

vegas 10e
windows 7 64 bit

installed pro tools version is 10.0.0.821

I have always had issues with avid (digi) drivers and sony software and now is no exception

for example, if i choose ASIO Digidesign Driver the Vegas playhead wont move (even when it is playing back). just tried it again and it wont even play at all

so after digging around I tried ASIO4ALL and it works - but it locks up or looses communication randomly

for normal playback I can choose Windows Classic Wave Driver but I cant record dialog with it because it disables Vegas Input Monitoring

if anyone has a solution it would appreciate it.

This is a known issue with the latest ASIO drivers from Digi/AVID.

Digi had released beta drivers that fixed this problem, but then pulled them and never released the update.

We attempted to solve the problem, but the drivers are now tied to the pace copy protection, and this prevents us from debugging the app. We have tried to contact Digi/AVID, but have never received a response.

I will attempt to contact them again.

why dont you guys have a list of drivers / i-o boxes that are known to work well in vegas??
