Im locking up every so often and having crashes that partly seem related to the digi 7.4 asio driver - as it sometime just goes offline without notice

anyone else?

whats the best way to optimize digi 7.4 drivers + vegas 8c in vista? (not digis troubleshooting tips - which never work!)

are there any other brands that are solid driver/soundcards? Im getting sick of digi drivers.

Pretty much all others ? But there do appear to be potential problems with Firewire chipset compatibility though, if applicable. Doin't know if those are driver-related, or hardware.

Echo. Extremely stable drivers , w/o spending a fortune.

What connectivity can you handle ; PCI, 1394 (Firewire), or USB2 ? How many inputs/outputs ? Mic Preamps ?
