To make it like Hollywood, you would need high quality sources that Hollywood uses. Thats not to say you cant get acceptable quality, but to get Hollywood, you have to shoot, light, and produce like Hollywood using Hollywood sources.

If you have access to the film negatives, you could always scan them. If you are talking about something shot on DV, Hi8, VHS, etc..forget about it. No Hollywood here. :)

One other thing to add, even if you do the Hollywodd lighitng stick, use a $100,000+ camera you would still need to have the DVD's professionally mastered that means they end up being PRESSED, not burned. Its a totally different and EXPENSIVE process. So the bottom line is while you can make very good looking DVD's, the home brew variety aren't up to "commerically made" ones....yet.

While we're sort of on the topic, who's ready for HD DVD's?
