DirectX 9.0a End User-Runtime?

Has anybody installed this with Win XP Home version? Any problems? I don't want to install it if there is problems, but would like the benefit of the update.

I try it on XP pro. No problems so far, but can not see any benefit:)
please note: there is no uninstall option on DX9. use system restore to make a check point before you install dx9.
