Hi there. I have worked with Vegas since V3, and know it is the absolute pinnacle of DV editing software.

I typically shoot with 2 channels of audio and seperate them in to multiple tracks with grouping. However, one thing i got very used to was NOT having to "Ignore Event Grouping" to cut a particular clip of audio/video. I like being able to just right click and cut any one event without affecting the other clips, even if in a group.

In V7 when you CUT any clip all the groups also cut. can this be disabled?

If not, i noticed that one of the new features in the sticky subjects is "improved keyboard custimization". is there a way to assign "Ignore Event Grouping" to one of the F1/F2 keys?
