Disable Preview when Rendering?

I did a quick test rendering a short 720p video with some effects and color corretion took 1:07 to render w/ preview and 1:06 w/out preview.

Is there a way to disable preview when rendering w/ out closing the preview window? I didn't see any settings in Options/Preferences... or in the Video Preview Device Preferences.

So for an hour long render you'd save about 60 seconds.

It looks to me like they've moved this setting out of the public preferences but it's still available in the "internal preferences".

To get to that tab hold the shift key when you click on Options/Preferences. Then select the "Internal" tab. At the bottom of this screen is a text input box labeled "Show only prefs containing:". Type "Show Progress" here and the list will be filtered for you. Change the setting from TRUE to FALSE.

Wait! Isn't that minute gained in render times also a minute lost in coffee time? ;-)
