Disable Resample by default

I'm working with a whole bunch of PC captured footage that doesn't conform to NTSC or PAL frame rates.

Every time I use a video file, I have to right-click, go to Switches and Disable Resample to get it to look any good. (I understand the resample might look good for converting PAL to NTSC on video camera footage, but for my application it doesn't look good at all).

Is there a way to make this the default setting? Please can I have "Disable Resample" on all clips by default?

Thanks,
Matt

Short of a default, you can apply it to the first event (clip), ctrl-c to copy, click on the second event, shift-click on the last to select all but the first, right-click and choose Paste Event Attributes. This will apply the change to all events at once.

I'm glad you brought this up. I find myself disabling this as well - for one thing, it speeds up my preview window.

Do most of you disable this, or leave it on?

I always disable resampling. In my opinion, this should be the default (just as "interpolation" should be the default for de-interlacing algorithm). Otherwise, the footage ends up being full of ghosting.
