Disable Vegas Color Scheme

I just upgraded from Movie Studio Platinum 13 to Movie Studio Platinum 14, and (while I love many of the upgraded features) I'm dismayed to find there's no longer an option to deselect the "Use Vegas color scheme" in the Preferences > Display.

Are there any plans to make this possible in a future update? From an accessibility standpoint, I'd think this is pretty important. I have trouble with all the dark on dark (for multiple reasons). Can I look forward to using a light color theme in the future? I'm not sure the product is usable for me as-is.

You are not alone. Search and you will find other similar posts.

Thanks! I did search and found a few posts that mentioned the lack of functionality (and even a reference to the reason for it), but I didn't see anything indicating whether this is something that's on the docket to be updated (and if so, when). That's what I'd most like to know. Do I keep an eye out for a possible update? Or do I keep using 13?

It hasn't been altered in MS14 with two updates. Pro 15 now has user adjustable UI but I get the impression it may not give what we used to have. Magix comments a few months back indicated we are unlikely to see a change in MS until MS15. So you appear to have little option other than continuing with MS13 and trying MS15 when it comes out.

Personally I don't mind the dark background. It's the lack of contrast with the black highlighting of active buttons that I find pathetic. I find it hard to believe that the developers tried to do any editing before they released it or else they have cat's night vision!
