I have a 20 min video a few days ago. Realized I couldn't upload to Youtube.

So I created two files... each would be "part 1" and "part 2."

I rendered part 1 and uploaded it to youtube.

Now I cannot find the original Vegas Movie Studio file for either of the sessions.

Tried a search for ".vi" and under the names of the files.... but they appear to have "moved."

Any tricks to finding accidently deleted (if that's what accidently happened) or missing files?

Any places they could be hiding? I am on PC / Win 7.

PS: Each time I reopened Vegas Movie Studio, I had recieved a message that I had saved the video incorrectly (!?). So I clicked YES to save last video correctly. Even though I had saved before closing each time, as I habitually do this in any program like this. So what is up with that?!
