Disc at once audio CD

Good morning everyone,
Just wondering if this is normal..."write in" takes 10 seconds and then hangs there (after showing 100% complete) for 5-10 minutes before the 10 second "write out". I only bother with this post because sometimes I have to burn 20-30 CDs at a time and I've never had this kind of wait with any other software; however I've never had software that burned "redbook" before either, could that be the reason? Burner is a generic 24x10x40 and set to maximum speed in VV3, but like I say, it's always been quite fast with other software.

First, try slowing down the burn. Second, check the media/try different media.
Your behavior is very abnormal.

I've tried 3 different brands of CD-Rs but will try a slower burn time.
