I have a problem where my disc dies during the finalizing.i am using dvd-rw and have a pioneer a05 retail recorder.
I have no problem burning DVD or CDR with this unit.i burned a disc right after and it works.but try to burn the files dvd-a creates to my hard drive and it fails at the end.
i use gear or padus software for all my burning.i have no issues except this one and it is weird.i don't understand it at all.i mean if i am able to burn discs whether they are dvd-r or cdr or dvd-rw with no errors then why does it die on a VIDEO_TS directory with a few files in it.
and all i have created so far is just a 5 minute movie with no menu.just a simple you would think DVD as i want to get more compicated once i solve this problem.
also i did try it 3 times last night.i used different video...and re-booted after each failed burn.
does anyone have any ideas why it is doing this.
