Disc Space used is saying 103% used but how?

The disc space used is saying there is 103% of a 25GB BD disc used. The assests are a 18,451,485 KB video (avc from vegas) and 5.1 ac3 also from vegas. 125,146 KB in size. Surely this should fit in the 23 GB available for a BD-R?

Am I wrong? Am I doing something wrong?

I am using:
DVD architect 5.2
Vegas 10c 64bit

First, DVD Architect is notorious for overestimating the necessary size, sometimes by a factor of 2x or more. It's possible that it's ok. You can try preparing and then see how large the output folder is.

Another common problem with more space used than expected is accidentally using a large media file for the background behind menus. One thing that can happen easily is to use the whole video as the background behind the title screen, which means the movie will be on the disc twice. I don't think this is your problem since the required space isn't twice as much as the movie. However, check to make sure you haven't used some other large movie as a background.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I re-encoded the file using my matrox compressHd card instead of using Vegas to encode and this produced a similar size file but DVD architect says 91% used! Strange! It is rendering to bd iso now so hopefully it will be ok! Thanks for the advice.
