What are the differences between these two programs ? I know something about After Effects and I'm wondering if Combustion is better. What do you think ? Are there equal composing tools or their have nothing to do ? What do you think it is more powerful ?
I think what they do is almost same. I find the Combustion chroma-keyer more flexible, like the Combustion surface more then AE and I personally find Combustion more easy to learn.
I'm wondering how a discussion of Combustion and After Effects ended up on this forum?
Well, I've got no experience in Combustion, but I'm basically in the process of replacing all my AE work with Vegas Video. So far it's proven up to the task.
Oh - you reminded me of what I forgot to mention there:
I never liked AE, worked with Combustion for a short while but I do not use any of these apps on my own system because all I need to do I can do with VegasVideo now!
