Disk autoplay

Is there a feature I am missing that PREVENTS a DVD from starting autoplay, or is this an issue with the actual player itself?

I have been learning Vegas Pro and DVDA Pro and have been creating some decent menus, but when I insert the disk into my player, the thing starts to play automatically, and I never see the menu! LOL...

I must be missing something? I didn't see anything about autoplay features in the online help of either Vegas Pro or DVDA.

Thanks.

For the menu to display first it must be selected as the 'DVD Start' item (a star on its icon) in the project pane.

If this isn't the case, select the menu entry and click the star icon in the toolbar.

That's it Mike...thanks again.

I wonder why I couldn't find that in the help section? What's that listed under?

I tried search strings "Set Disk Start," "Disk Start," and "Start." None of these work, nor does "autoplay." I feel like a dufus asking these simple questions, but I can't seem to be able to find this stuff in the Help Index, so I don't know what else to do.

Anyway, I appreciate your help.

EDIT: Oops...I did find it, under "Start." It's under the "Add the introduction (first play) media" section. I guess I just have to learn some Sony-speak terminology (synonyms) for the words I am used to using.
