I have a Sony EX1 and I have to record a 6 hour arbitration meeting. I will need to extract sections based on when they happened at a certain time of day, ex. from 1:05pm to 1:08pm. I know my EX1 can generate clock timecode. Is there a way for Vegas to display clock timecode?
Or does anyone have another suggestion? Thanks

Thanks, I changed it to that but I still can't get the clock timecode to show. I've added the FX to the clip and tried all the formats but it still doesn't show correctly.
Got it thanks! I was adding the TC as an Event FX not Media FX.
For anyone wanting to make a timecode run continuously over all or part of a timeline with multiple events. Follow these steps:
Create a new empty Video track and make sure it is the Top layer
Right click on the empty timeline area of the new top layer video track and choose "insert empty event"
Go to Video FX and find the Timecode effect. Choose the type of timecode you wish to have.
Apply the Video FX effect onto the empty event on the Topmost track you just created.
Stretch that event over the location you want it to start and end at!
Xberk, you can also add it as a video output fx.
'Add Timecode to All Media' script. This gives you the original timecode as recorded by camera.
