Display filenames

Hi...Dumb question..I need to display the filenames when I am creating a photoslide. Read thru the manuals and under Track Media, I only see Audio (no video)..even though it's only JPG files I have. If I double click on one pic then I can see the Video colum under track media and I see the filename displayed in the box..but how do I render that out so when I watch the photos on TV I will see the filenames?

Thanks

There's no automatic way to do this. You'll need to use Vegas to build your slide show, create a text event for each photo (probably on a different track, overlaying the text on the picture?) and enter the filename manually. There's probably a way via scription to automate this process, but not in DVDA.

it's a piece of cake in DVDA. You use subtitles.

You can use DOS commands to save all the file names to a TXT file, then you import that into DVDA as subtitles. I've done that quite a bit & it works great.

If you're using the picture compilation, go to Options -> Auto-Insert Slide Text before adding any pictures to it. This will put a text item over the picture with its filename (sans the extension). If you've already added pictures, you can go to Insert -> Text and manually add what you want. You can format this text the same way you would any menu text.
