Distorted video only in Vegas

I'm hoping someone can tell me why Vegas does this, and if there's a workaround. Throughout any MPEG2 video I take with my cam, there will be distortion in various parts in Vegas Movie Studio 10. Here's a little clip of it. The glitch happens at the very end.

https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B_tMTh91HRtVODMxZTJhZGItYzY4MC00NzVmLWJhYTktNjNhZjg1YmQ5MmM3&hl=en&authkey=CJLA4qcL

The encoded flv on that link doesn't have the glitch, if you download it and play it, or put it into other applications (I used MPG2CUT2), it also doesn't have the glitch. It seems to only happen in Vegas (Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10, and also in my old copy of Vegas 7.0 pro). And will render the distortion.

Even stranger, on another forum someone says he loaded that clip into Vegas Pro 10 and it DIDN'T have the glitch, but DID when he loaded into his Vegas Pro 9 (and in his copy of Vegas Movie Studio 10).

Any ideas? Thanks.

MJ

If that's the case, then it's a bug on Vegas 9 and older, and Platinum 10 which is older than Pro 10. So, either download the TRIAL of Vegas Pro 10 and do your job, or wait for an update/upgrade for Platinum 10.
