.dll problem - Vegas Pro 8

Just got the upgarde to Vegas Pro 8 - keep getting message that 'vegas has to close' and then closes - problem history refers to a crash related to sonymvd2pro_xp.dll.......happens when I am previewing clips through media manager & explorer.....any ideas?
I'm operating on Vista 64 Ultimate.

Sony is aware of the problem and will fix it on the next patch.

In the mean time... there is most likely a scene or 2 that V8 is allergic to.... find those scenes and remove them, This will stop the crashing. OR... you can capture the entire clip WITHOUT scene splitting, and do the scene splitting manually on the time line.

Thanks...this really makes me feel better....forgot to mention it was happening at video capture as well, when creating the clips at the end....have to agree with you that 7 to 7d was solid on vista 64, so will just go back to 7d until the fix comes...do you estimate the fix will be days or weeks?
