DNxHD120 not opening in Vegas , "unsupported format" error

Mindmatter wrote on 4/13/2021, 3:43 AM

Hi all

although i've edited DNxHD files from my Atomos Shogun many times before, V17 and V18 now refuse to open the files.

What could be the problem?

Thanks for any hint...!

Did you ensure the Quicktime plug-in is still enabled in Options/Preferences/Deprecated Features?

That doesn't help. Must install the codec AvidCodecsLE (and/or the externe quicktime)

I assume he already has the codec installed else he wouldn't have been able to read such files before.

Thanks Marco, you again saved the day. That was the solution.
