Dock Project Media And Timeline Side-By-Side

Will all the talk about how customizable the interface is, I am really surprised that I can do a vertical split-screen with Project Media and Timeline.
In this one particular instance, I have a bunch of tracks and I'm just wanting to drag from the thumbnails to the tracks.
It is a short project, so I don't need a full-width timeline.
Seeing a bunch of short tracks is far more important, in this instance.
Can you only dock windows to the top portion of the program?

While it would definitely be cool to be able to undock the timeline itself to move around, here is a way that you can do what you are trying to achieve the way things currently are. You can then save this layout to be able to pull it up quickly later if you want, using view>window layout>save layout as. you can then click "default layout" to quickly restore back to the normal layout.

I didn't think about leaving the window undocked and just having Vegas windowed instead of maximized.

I still think it would be cool to be able to re-arrange everything... put the timeline up top if I want, on the left, right, etc.while still having vegas itself maximized.
