Dodgy Event.

I have captured a large video (DV) 50mins and on one of the events I want to use it is really jittery. I have played it frame by frame and noticed several black frames (which I assume are missed frames). I have deleted them one by one and in about a 3 minute event I have about 30 deleted frames.
It looks a mess on the timeline and I am worried it might suffer from something else if I try moving events around. Is this OK or is it better to load the event into a new project, edit it (remove missed frames), publish it and then use the new event in my project. Or is there an easier way?

It's quite likely you had a dirty head or other problem in the camera when you shot it. You might do best to do exactly as you're asking; open in new project and render to new.

You might try to recapture that 3 minute chunk from the camcorder. Maybe some background process on your PC kicked in during that timeframe and caused the dropped frames.
