Does AC3 audio work with PAL?

I noticed when doing a PAL project the program selects PCM for audio. I'm having a project size problem and was wondering if AC3 works with PAL. Thanks

Yes, AC3 works fine with PAL. There are some older PAL DVD Players that won't decode AC3, but I think those are mostly gone...

Only issue I've had is on some of the older players you had to manulay select ac3, the newer ones I think can be set to default to PCM but if that isn't there they play out the ac3 track.
