Hello, I’m using Vegas Pro 23 on Windows 11. Subtitles are not working even after:
- Restarting the program
- Resetting preferences (CTRL Shift startup)
- Reinstalling VP23
- Resetting my PC
I tested with clean .wav audio and UTF-8 .srt subtitles in a blank project, but neither works. Please advise if this is a known VP23 bug or if I should revert to VP22.
Last week I had similar issue in VP23 during Speech Transcript process to text, just goes blank, but then retry 2nd time and works ok. - Just curious to retry and still works ok. - but for me, I always have to define the language manually or it goes to wrong transcript everytime.
Try this:
Delete the following folder: WebView2
It is located in:
C:\Users\ {your userID} \AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\23.0\WebView2
You may have to unhide the hidden folder AppData in Windows first.
Do not worry in deleting this folder, it will be re-generated again when launching Vegas.
