Does anyone know what that device is?

Sony included the Fall 2007 catalog with my purchase of Vegas Pro 8. In the catalog, on pages 2 and 9 there is a device that sort of looks like Sony's version of the Contour Shuttle. What's it called and are they available for purchase?

Unless we also had a copy of that cattle dog we might be hard pressed trying to work out what it is.
Sony do a very neato shuttle controller for their XPRI system, wood be nice if we could buy that and if it worked with Vegas, could that be what it is?

Looks like it's part of a desktop system Sony sell. Don't know if you can buy the whole deal as a turnkey system, would be darn good if you could. That's what Vegas etc have been sorely lacking.

I Googled all the possible names for it but couldn't come up with anything. Hit a few of the Sony websites but couldn't find anything on it - even the Sony broadcast/ pro video websites.
