Does anyone use Loupe Deck CT controller with Vegas Pro?

Edmond-Zoghaib wrote on 9/17/2020, 9:24 AM

I'm a composer and I use Cubase 10.5, I'm about to buy a controller, LoupeDeck CT video controller now is fit for Cubase so if it works with Vegas I'll take it though there is one by Steinberg (Cubase editor).

So tell me please if someone uses that controller.

Thanks, Edmond

I would love to know the same thing.

I found this article where this guys says;

"Loupedeck+ is a dedicated photo and video editing console putting everything you need at your fingertips – with a caveat. It comes preconfigured only for Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom and Audition, Final Cut Pro X, Capture One and Skylum: Aurora HDR.

So, at this stage, if you are say, a Vegas Pro, AVID or Blackmagic Resolve user, it seems you may be out of luck. But as we speak, I am checking with the developers as to self-configuration and / or future development in this area and it mostly seems to down to user demand driven."

I have a Loupedeck connected to my machine and it does work with Vegas. You have to download a Vegas preset from Loupedeck but they have one already set up for Vegas. Can't say I've really "used" it with Vegas but it does work with Vegas.

See this about Custom Profiles. Scroll down until you see Magix Vegas Pro.

I prefer the Contour Shuttle Pro V2 as it seems easier to use by touch without having to look at where the buttons are located.

Vegas Pro 18 Edit, Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum, Magix Video Pro X16, Magix Movie Studio Platinum 2024, Xara Designer Pro X19, Samplitude Pro X8 Suite, Music Maker 2025 Premium, SF Audio Cleaning Lab 4, Sound Forge Pro 16 and more.
