Does Vegas allow pixel-by-pixel movement of title box?

Sometimes you want to move the title box on the screen in very small increments, typically achieved by using the cursor keys in other apps. Does Vegas allow you to move the title box position on screen pixel-by-pixel? Adjusting the title box with the mouse is often very imprecise. Thanks!

Yes, the location tool for text media allows for very precise movement (less than a pixel), and it can be animated. My preferred method is to use Pan and Crop because it's a better interface for moving things around.

If you click CTRL while moving the box, it will be more precise.

It works on all "moving" functions.

The Title Box can be moved with the location tool on the screen in smallest steps of 0,01 (=1%) of the screen width or heigth. So that's not pixelbypixel or even smaller. The easiest way to move the text box is by dragging the text box with pressed leftmouse button. More precise movements can be done by selecting the text box and move it with the arrow keys (steps 0,1=10%) or with the arrow keys while holding CTRL (steps0,01=1%).

While changes of 0,01 are the smallest steps you could move by using the arrow keys (+Ctrl), if you directly type the values, you could use steps of 0,0001 (don't be worried: even then only two digits after the comma will be displayed).

Does that make sense when there is no way to check the position, optical or numerical? Which value do I have to type in to place text box exactly at pixel 756,513 and which value to move it one pixel left?

Yes, I came back here to say this. When you type into the box what coordinates you want and hit Tab, the text will go to those coordinates, but the actual numbers will round to the 2nd decimal. Additionally you can drag text around directly on your video preview window.

I did not know about the CTRL+Click ability, however. That will be handy.
