Does Vegas have a counter?

I know adobe premire has a counter that you can use to count down the start of a project like 5-4-3-2-1. How do you do this on Vegas?

this tutorial is for VV2 but will probably work for VV3 as well.

I made the classic looking one (Picture Start - 8 down to 2) using a cross hair and a couple circles I drew in Photoshop. Then used a clock wipe transition over two base colours and the standatd text for the count down numbers. From wo to go it talk me about 1.5 hours.
