I also tried it and it worked. I was using Neat Video version 4.1 and Vegas would crash when I rendered out. I contacted Neat Video they said they had no problems with Vegas 14. I updated Neat Video to version 4.2 and that did the trick. So make sure you are running version 4.2, worked for me.

Same here.  I updated to 4.2 Neat Video and was able to make things work -- BUT -- still have had some crashes.  I can't tell how stable since I have not used it extensively with VP14 yet.  I'm still running the Trial of VP14.
