Does Vegas Pro can import folders in media bin?

Working with multicams & i want to just drag all the folders that I've made with the current project & all the other files needed for the editing. Can Vegas do this? I've tried this but it can't be drag & drop or maybe i'm doing it wrong, so i want to ask if its supported with Vegas?

If Vegas does not have this function can they include it with their next versions, coz its somewhat annoying to you know make the same tree of folders in the media bin especially with multiple camera set ups plus other materials.

I totally agree. For multicam projects this is very annoying. It is important to arrange by folder, especially with Sony where the files have the same names!

Yup its my issue also dealing with Sony cameras files coz they have this auto reset file naming. You have to deal it by saving in different cards in different folders with the same camera.

So, imagine the number of folders you make everytime you download cards & how often the shooter will change in a 6 camera set up for example.

The new Vegas Pro 16 Build 261 has this feature. You can drag the folders created in the Media Bin into the Timeline.

A very useful feature is Batch Media import of the Vegasaur 3.4.3.

Batch Media Import is a real time saver when you need to import hundreds of files from a highly nested folder hierarchy on your disk. If your files are already organized in folders, it will duplicate and maintain the folder hierarchy within the Vegas Pro project. It will save you hours of creating media bins manually and dragging and dropping files into the proper bins.

What i mean is the folders you made in your windows explorer when you arrange your files there & import it NATIVELY & directly through Vegas just like Premiere. So you don't have to rely on third party app & struggle in imitating the same folder tree that you made. Why not just Vegas Pro add that drag n drop feature which straight import from the folder drive or right click in media bin & import all folders of all clips.
