Does Vegas text have these symbols?

I've not been able to find symbols in Vegas (5) that I need for the text portion of a video project - specifically, the "copyright" symbol and the one for "registered trademark."

If they are not in Vegas, is there a way to import them from Word (if so in what file format do I save the text - rich text format?

Vegas uses your fonts. If you have them in Word, you have them in Vegas. Try Wingdings.

virtually every font you normally use in Windows has these symbols.

It's just a question of accessing them. Try the Character Map in Windows, you'll find it under Accessories. You'll be surprised what you already have.

You just copy and paste from there.

hold down the ALT key and then use the number pad to enter 0169 or 0174 or 0153

The results are "©" and "®" "™"

or you could probably just cut and paste from Word to the titler in vegas.
