Does VP16 Suite have a DeFlicker Plug-in or method to deflicker video?

Qoncussion wrote on 10/9/2018, 12:44 PM

Hi,

The title says it all. I'm using VP16 Suite, and really need a DeFlicker plug-in. I've tried the methods of offsetting one or two lines of video at lower opacities, but am not happy with the results on moving objects.

Is there a cheap way to deflicker? The plug-ins out there cost quite a bit - for me, at least :)

Thanks!

I did find a flickerRemove plugin - several actually. So far no luck with any of them working - but I'll keep trying. I accidentally shot part of a seminar with a PowerPoint on-screen presentation with my shutter speed at 1/48sec (24fps), and caught the 60Hz flicker of the screen. 😠 I switched to 1/60th later - but have to fix my boo boo first...

I would LOVE to - but it's a bit more than I can spend right now. :(

It's a specialist tech thing. I don't think there is a free one that works.

After years of shooting and editing AND SEARCHING for a free one - I would totally agree with that statement. I may have to pony up to get Flicker Free...

Well, I tried Digital Anarchy's demo - and it worked perfectly - so I bit down hard and bought it. Problem solved! Thanks to everyone for their help.
