Dolby 2.0 and 5.1 in same title?

I could swear I've done this before, but now DVDa is telling me I can't. I have a title with a DD 5.1 track and then a 2.0 commentary track on the main feature. They both are compressed as necessary using the same templates I've used many times before. I know they are DVD spec compatible.

But DVDa keeps telling me I need to recompress the 5.1 audio. So I go into the properties and set the disc to 5.1 and then every other piece of audio needs to be recompressed. Is there any way to have a 5.1 track and 2.0 track in the same project, and the same title? You know, like a lot of movies do?

Your help is appreciated in advance.

I've done this before so I know it is possible.
Remember to use the AC-3 Pro Encoder, not the Studio.
Make sure your DVDA Project Properties are set correctly (not LPCM).

If my project properties are set to 5.1 it tells me it needs to re-encode all the of the 2.0 ac3 files on each video...(special features, commentaries, trailers, etc.

If I set it to 2.0 it tells me I need to re-encode the 5.1 surround audio.

These are done using the Pro encoder.

448 for surround, 192 for stereo...

Something weird is going on.
