DON'T INSTALL 2.0f (until you read this)

Installed it yesterday then pulled up a project I was working on. All of my title slides now say "TEXT". All of my verbage is gone!

Also, 2.0f will no longer open MPEG video files.

Both of these issues are confirmed by other folks in this forum.

No explaination from SF as of yet.

Some of you have reported problems importing text from pre-2.0f Vegas projects. Here's the fix- should take about 2 minutes total:

download the file "vidpcore.dll" from this ftp site:

ftp://porker.sonicfoundry.com/

User: dude
Password: sweet

put this newly downloaded "vidpcore.dll" file in the folder:

":\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\Video".

Ok to overwrite existing.

Restart Vegas, open up problem projects- text should be there.

We'll continue to watch this closely- sorry for the inconvience. Post results here if possible.
