Don't laugh...

My Windows 98 machine has finally died. I am "upgrading" to a Windows XP machine. (Basically, I use a couple of old Aardvark 24/96's for home recording that won't work with a newer system).

I looked at the system requirements for the latest upgrade, and obviously this isn't going to meet them. Is there an upgrade available for purchase, possibly an older one, that will work with Windows XP, or is there any way the new version will work?

Thanks in advance,

VegasPro 10 is the last version that works on XP; still available in Download area, but not available in Sony Shop anymore but you may pick up a "used" licence somewhere....

VP 9 and 10 were pretty stable.. unlike VP11.
I have VP-9 on an 'old' Win XP PC and it runs fine. Do to the 'old-slow' PC I have to sometimes build proxy files for multi-cam edits, but the final renders are fine. Audio-only is not a problem.
One small advantage of VP10 is audio 'event' plug-in support.
