Usually just do disks that you insert and it plays.
Added some chapter markers for the first time and would like the disk to use a photo with some sort of action box "click to play" so I can start it when the time is right.
OK, thanks. Saw a Youtube by Bill Meyers that also helped.
Questions:
1. when I insert into my DVD player, it starts right away. But, if I then hit "Top Menu", it does go to my scene selection menu where I can control it. Is there another setting I missed?
2. Is it better to burn at 4x or 8x VS the 16x that defaults...as I read that the slower is more reliable.
"2. Is it better to burn at 4x or 8x VS the 16x that defaults...as I read that the slower is more reliable."
Hooboy... let the arguments begin...
There are almost as many different answers to this question as there are people answering. Some will say it doesn't matter that much. Others will swear that you have to burn at the lowest rate your burner will handle.
I go for the happy medium -- I almost never burn at the fastest possible speed, but don't shy away from the intermediate settings. For example, if I have 16x media, I will usually burn at 8x, sometimes at 12x. This has been a successful strategy, given the compatibility rate of my discs with a number of different players.
