Dothan vs. P4M

OK, without giving me too much grief for wanting to edit on a laptop (I'd never get to use VV5 if I didn't have it on my laptop), which chip will perform better at video editing tasks?

The Dothan is screaming in benchmark tasks, but benchmarks aren't video editing. Most editing use will be plugged-in, so battery life isn't that important.

Would I be better off with a PowerNotebook.com laptop based on the Dothan processor (up to 2GHz) or the Northwood P4 (up to 3.2MHz)?
