Normally you have to have any attached Media files that the creator rendered off a 3D app or captured via video as well.

Very rarely does a .veg file just work (unless it's all Vegas generated media) when you download it.

If you downloaded the media as well (like a .zip file), then all you have to do is when Vegas asks you can just point it to the new location that you've unzipped on your hard drive.

Cheers!

If I check each sample, the files seem to be there along with the .veg-bak
The properties show me all 141 megs were downloaded.
I clic on the file with the Vegas icon and it opens Vegas, but that's when I get the pop-up window with the error.

Do a search for missing files, and point to the download directory.

What's happened is that the files are located on your hard drive from the content creator's hard drive.

Simple Fix :)

Goood Luck!

"location that you've unzipped on your hard drive."

D'oh!!! I read right through that!
Big time blush situation here! I'd forgotten to unzip the download. With Windows XP you can see the files without having to unzip, so I was loading the veg file, but of course Vegas couldn't get the clips...they were still zipped!
Looking right past the obvious. Kinda like looking for your glasses when they're actually on your face.
Thanks for the replies.

PS: I wear glasses too. :)
