There are actually two different sub folders called themes. One has an underscore the other doesn't. The theme file should go in the sub folder that doesn't have the underscore. If you happen to put it in the wrong folder or in both in won't work. You'll know you're in the right one if all the icons look the same a deep blue.

Did you shut DVD-A down then restart after you got the new themes?
