Drag and drop events to multiple tracks, possible?

Hi

I really really thought this is possible and even thought Id done it sometime in the past. Is it possible to choose 100 events and drag and drop them and have them all go to each their own track? Now I cant seem to have any other way then to drag and drop on one track (vegas automatically puts everything on one track after each other) and then do it manually, but its very labourous.

I dont mind if vegas puts them all at the start of the timeline or after each other on separate tracks. As long as I get them on separate tracks.

Im trying to sync stuff with Plural Eyes and this is what I need to do in order to achieve it I understand.

thanks!

Sami

When you select the files, use the right-mouse button instead of the left. Then when you drop the files onto the timeline, Vegas will pull up a context menu from which you can choose a way to arrange the files.

My own path to find out stuff:

1) Search the vegas help (yielded no results)
2) Google
3) Come to the forum and ask for help

If you are wondering why the Vegas Help yielded no results it is most likely because Vegas talks about media sometimes as tracks and sometimes as events, sometimes just media. It's a subject that is hard to search for especially as I am not native english.
