Drag and Drop VEG System Stall

Vegas 7b when I try to drag a long 59 min. veg on to the time line, the system hangs with no progress. When I drag a shorter 30min veg the file shows up on the time line and starts building the file. preview What gives??

It may be that your system doesn't have enough RAM, and the file is taking too much mem to write as a proxy. I assume you're attempting to nest a 60 minute file?

Yes, I have 1g ram. Was thinking that should be enough

Funny it was enough in Vegas 6 to nest 60min veg files. I geuss it's just the price of progress.
