Drag of elements to the timeline not rational

I figured I'd be clever and name all of the pictures I'm using in a video P1, P2, P3... P# so that they would be in the right order. They appeared in the right order in the VV Explorer window, but when I selected them and dragged them to the timeline VV rearranged the pictures (the lengths and crossfades times were correct). I couldn't figure out what the critera for the order was, but it wasn't alphabetical. Anyone have any idea how to get this to work. It sure would be nice where there are a hundred or so pictures to not have to drag them one at a time to the time line. I'd rather just name them something that sorts correctly while I am scanning the pictures.

First of all, if you have more than 9 pictures, you need to name them P01, P02... (more than 99 need to be named P001, P002...). Otherwise, you'll end up with P1, P10, P11, P12, P13, P14, ..., P19, P2, P20, P21...

Next, they ARE added in alphabetical order BUT the first picture will ALWAYS be the one you click on to drag to the timeline. So, make sure you click and drag on #1 after selecting them all.

Thanks. I'm wise to the ASCII sort order nuances, but I didn't know about it putting the one you drag from first. That could be what is happening.

Appreciated,

Also, if you drag, grab the top one, otherwise the one you grab will be first, then the rest follow. This was meant to duplicate how Windows did it, but then, of course, they changed it in XP.

I don't mean to be critical of VV3, but the reason I love capturing with ScenalyzerLive instead of VidCap is that clip is automatically named with the shooting date and time, which means I don't have to name them unless I want to. Also, the fact that they are chronologically named means that they will sort properly without having to plan to name them 01 rather than 1, etc.

One of the BEST features of Scenalizer. Here, Here! SoFo, consider making this an option, please. Reverse serial dates are SOOOO useful.
