Drag preview

I must have turned an option off by mistake a while back, but when I drag the edge of a clip I don't get a preview of the video as I drag it. How can I change this?

General Preferences/Disable multi-processor AVI rendering click ON. (almost halfway down)

In V8, View > Video Event Edge Edit Frames or Ctrl / Shift O
