Is your CD drives ATAPI ?

When I first got CD architect and my burner, it would not recogznize
it either----I was told to go to the webpage and download the
upgrade. This took care of the problem. Apparently, CD architect
must have support for your burner in order for it to work. If it
does not recognize it, there is not much else you can do.

I have de same problem...
It doesn't recognize my cd rom drive (creative 24x) and my HP 8100i
cd writer plus. Both are IDE. Is this the problem ?
I'm Brazilian. Here everything is too dificult.
